Terms & Conditions - $20 FREE Bonus Package

The following are the terms and conditions of the '$20 Free Promotion' (the 'Promotion'). The Promotion shall be organized by 888 corporate group (the 'Promoter') who is the owner and operator, inter alia, of the brand .

  1. This Promotion shall be open only to persons who are located in Ontario, Canada at the time of their participation in the Promotion. If any person participates in the Promotion while located outside Ontario, Canada, while under the age of 19 or while otherwise ineligible to engage in the gambling service included on www.poker.888.ca (the “Site”), any prize, bonus and/or other benefit which such person has received and/or is eligible to receive under this Promotion and any winnings generated through the wagering of any of the aforesaid shall not be awarded to any such person and/or shall be forfeited by any such person.
  2. This Promotion is an ongoing Promotion, currently without an end date, we will provide reasonable notice of when the Promotion is to come to an end (the “Promotion Period”).
  3. 888poker may vary or cancel any promotion, bonus or special offer at any time. Other than where necessary to prevent fraud or other similar unlawful behavior, any such variation or cancellation will not apply to you if you have already opted into the promotion, bonus or special, made a deposit in expectation of receipt of a bonus or other benefits offered, and/or commenced play in relation to the promotion, bonus or special offer prior to the date of the communication of the variation or cancellation.
  4. Available to players aged 19 years of age or older who are otherwise eligible to engage in the gambling service included on the Site.
  5. This promotion is only valid for players who do not already have an existing or previous 888poker account.
  6. You may be asked at any stage to provide us with a proof of age and/or identity.
  7. You may only enter this Promotion once.
  8. For security and verification purposes, we reserve the right to limit participation in this Promotion to: (i) one per household; (ii) one per computer terminal; or (iii) one per mobile device.
  9. Each entrant shall only be entitled to make one entrance to the Promotion and may receive only one $20 FREE Bonus Package, as such term is detailed below. Moreover, only one person per household or per computer terminal shall be allowed to enter the Promotion. In the event that the Promoter deems in its absolute discretion that an entrant has violated these terms and conditions in any way, including without limitation by multiple registrations for the Promotion, or has executed any other act in bad faith in relation to the Promotion, such entrant shall be excluded from the Promotion and therefore become ineligible to win the $20 FREE Bonus Package.
  10. During their engagement period and for a period of 24 months thereafter, none of our officers, directors, employees, consultants or agents or any other company within our group of companies or our suppliers, vendors or white label partners are permitted to participate in the Promotion, nor is any supplier or vendor. This restriction also applies to relatives of such persons and for this purpose 'relative' means any of a spouse, partner, parent, child or sibling.
  11. Eligible members will be offered a Bonus Package equivalent to $20 FREE. The FREE Bonus Package will be equal to $20 regardless of the currency exchange rate.
  12. If you have a pending message on the Site’s cashier regarding your recent gaming activity, we reserve the right to revoke your eligibility to participate and/or continue to participate in this promotion. In such event, any bonus and/or other benefit which you have received and/or are eligible to receive under this promotion, shall be forfeited by you.
  13. The Promotion is a new registration offer with the Site and completely replaces any similar registration offer with the Site.
  14. We may amend or modify the Promotion including without limitation, where required for security reasons, to comply with applicable law or regulation, due to abuse or otherwise where the promotion is not capable of being conducted as specified as a result of exceptional circumstances.
  15. By entering the Promotion each entrant unreservedly agrees to these terms and conditions which govern the Promotion and the awarding of the Bonus, along with the '888 Group Operated Sites and Services End-User License Agreement' (the 'EULA') and the Promoter's standard ' which apply to the Promotion. In the event of any conflict between the terms and conditions of the Promotion and the provisions contained in the EULA or the , the terms and conditions of the Promotion shall prevail.
  16. Withdrawing funds: The amount you are able to withdraw from your account is subject to minimum limits. If your withdrawal request is for less than the relevant allowable amount, the funds will be returned to your bankroll.     Please note that with respect to withdrawals, some payment methods implement a maximum amount which may be withdrawn at any one time.
  17. The Promoter’s decision is final with respect to all matters relating to awarding of the Bonus and shall not be subject to review or appeal by an entrant or by any third party.
  18. The Promoter reserves the right to alter these terms and conditions at any time and in its sole discretion.
  19. In order to meet the applicable wagering requirement, no real money shall be deemed to contribute (in full or in part) to the wagering requirement, unless otherwise specified by us.
  20. Available funds will always be used before Restricted Funds (to include Money transferred) and the balance of both will be displayed in your My Account
  21. All Bonus types (incl. Vouchers, their related winnings, and unclaimed Bonus funds) may be forfeited when making a withdrawal.

Promotion

  1. You may only participate in the Promotion, if you have not previously registered with the Site. If you benefit from this Promotion you will not be eligible to benefit from any other first deposit bonus or first deposit offer with the Site. If you have benefited from another first deposit offer with the Site you are not eligible to benefit from this Promotion.
  2. You may not combine this registration offer with any other type of registration offer provided by the Site.
  3. In order to enter the Promotion and receive the $20 Bonus Package, an entrant must download the Promoter's poker client, mobile application or click ‘Instant Play’ (‘No-Download’ version) and open a new user account with the Promoter at www.888poker.ca or via any of the Promoter's main websites and landing pages. The entrant will then receive an e-mail to the e-mail address entered in the registration form from the Promoter asking him/her to claim the offer by verifying his/her e-mail address by clicking on a link within the e-mail body or by SMS to the phone number entered. This is a prerequisite for the $20 FREE Bonus Package offer to be activated.
  4. After registration, entrants have 14 days to claim their $20 FREE before it expires.
  5. The $20 bonus will be granted as Tournament Tickets:
    • 40 tickets of $0.1 buy-in
    • 16 tickets of $1 buy-in
  6. Once claimed, the bonus will be granted in batches as follows:
    • First batch worth $5 (10 tickets of $0.1 buy-in and 4 tickets of $1 buy in), will be granted following your fulfilment of point 3 above.
    • Second batch worth $5 (10 tickets of $0.1 buy-in and 4 tickets of $ 1buy in) will be granted 3 days after the bonus has was claimed.
    • Third batch worth $10 (20 tickets of $0.1 buy-in and 8 tickets of $ 1 buy in) will be granted 7 days after the bonus was claimed.

Tournament Tickets

  1. A Tournament Ticket possesses a fixed value and may only be used in tournaments that have a buy-in equal to that of the value of the Tournament Ticket. For the avoidance of doubt, Tournament Tickets may not be used as a buy-in for a tournament where the buy-in is less than the value of a Tournament Ticket.
  2. If you don’t use the Tournament Tickets granted under the Promotion within 24 hours of being credited to your account, such Tournament Tickets shall expire and you shall forfeit such ticket.
  3. A Tournament Ticket can’t be used by a player to re-buy chips or to add chips to his/her stack during a tournament.
  4. Tournament Tickets may not be: (i) exchanged or converted into cash; (ii) joined together to create a higher value ticket; or (iii) transferred by a player to another player.

    • These terms and conditions have been drafted in the English language. In the event of any discrepancy between the meanings of any translated versions of these terms and conditions and the English language version, the meaning of the English language version shall prevail.
    • These terms and conditions and any matters relating hereto shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the applicable laws of Ontario and the laws of Canada.
